So to me commenting on social media can be a good thing and a bad thing.
For being good, it can allow us to to keep in touch, give feedback, and/or just wanting to say hello.
But I do think there’s a bad side to it as well. More often than not, I see hateful comments on posts. Whether this comes from individual posts or media type of posts we tend to sometimes criticize what the poster is saying. Just because we may not agree with what was said doesn't mean we should say hurtful comments. If we don't agree something I believe there are ways we can comment on someone's posts but also give positive criticism back. We’re all human and we have feelings.
For me personally, one reason I hold back putting stuff on Facebook or Twitter is because I am worried what people will think or what they might say. If I say something someone really hates is that enough to stop being my friend or can they accept who I am regardless of what I say.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t comment on post but we should stop and think before we say something hurtful and hateful that we might not be able to take back.
We’re all different, think different, have different values and opinion. I value and respect everyone’s thoughts and opinions even if they aren’t mine. So if I can’t say anything nice I won’t say it all.
